The road of the pilgrim

This one is just a silly idea I came up with a few weeks ago while going through my bits box. I found two Warhammer Chaos Warriors (no idea of how they got in there, it must be some kind of twisted Toy Story). Of course I currently have no place for such warriors in any of my ongoing projects. But for sure I have some place for the minis!

But of course that would mean some additional work...

You see where I'm going with these

I wasn't sure if they were gonna be merchants or pilgrims, but I finally thought that the latter would be more apporpiate, being the two of them nearly identical in their robes and so.

Once you have a clear idea of what you want, everything is easier

Not so Chaos Warrior looking now

I painted them orange, kinda suited them, and it's a colour I don't tend to use often, so it was appealing.

Lookin' for the road...

This way, man, this way!

Euh... Pete, I'm pretty sure this is not the Camino de Santiago

Don't worry, I think it's over there...

Not much else to say, these were fun, making them look in a totally different way from how they were originally designed.
More population for my district!

  1. Goodness me ... that is truly some inspiring sculpt work finished off with some fine painting. I am learning to sculpt myself, do you happen to know of any free online sculpting resource for beginners? :)

    1. Thank you very much!
I'm afraid I can't tell you much right now, all I've done in this field has been pretty much via trial and error (specially error, hehe...)
Anyway, let me check, I'll have a look and see if I can find anything that suits you :)

    1. Thank you! My first idea was making a couple of merchants with white robes and touches of red. Instead of that look what I ended doing... I just follow the entropy way of doing things :D

    1. Oh, sir, that's probably the most beautiful thing anyone has told me ever! Thanks for your kind words, but these are nothing but weird mosters turned into twisted weird old men, hehe. Just trying to attach to the oldschool style...
