Some old looking fantasy flavour

Yet time for another change! As the title suggests, we'll have some oldschool looking fantasy minis today. They all come from Knightmare Miniatures, and you'll see why I fell in love with each one of them as soon as I saw these beauties.

First one is this Goblin Warlord:

Nothing says 'Kev Adams' as a glorious Greenskin

Charming little guy. I'm resisting the urge to collect a full Goblin army now!! (Focus... breathe... that is... there, there...)

OK, more stuff! Some Chaos Knights. I would have bought the whole range, but I passed the sanity roll and managed to restrain myself to just these. I particularly love the first one:

Awful light, it really looks way more rotten in person. I lack any ability to take decent pics

But also wanted to try something different...

'What do you mean by 'beetle'?

I finally broke my mental block and dared to paint a Chaos knight in colours different than bare metal or black. Still struggling with myself, but the first step is taken!

Long path to walk yet though...

Finally, I also put my brushes on this terrifying sorcerer/cult leader/sacrifice guy:

Kali Maaaa!

They all have been painted using short empty moments, so they've taken me some more time than expected. Pics don't do them justice, I'm afraid, but I'm painting only by night, so I cannot take pics in the daylight.
Anyway, I might be painting at a slow pace, but I'm not idle! I'll try to keep on updating the blog with whatever new project gets into my way! :D

  1. Absolutely fantastic! I particularly love the Goblin Warlord, but then I'm biased. Who doesn't love Goblins! Especially Kev Adams Goblins!

  4. I think you did excellent work on them and you shouldn't feel uncertain about the chaos knights as the highlights you put in really make them 'pop'!
