Going back to Epic again! After the Titans, I felt I needed some regular forces. I remembered I have Space Marines, Orks and Chaos armies, so it was time to do something about them.
First of all, in order to make some plans, I commited myself to see what I had. The Space Marines infantry could hold without any additional work. I have two full Battle Companies.
My original idea back in the day was assembling the whole Ultramarines Chapter, but I left it with a couple of Companies and never got back to it. Anyway, you can see I tried to replicate the Codex Astartes structure. So each Company has six Tactical Squads, two Assault Squads and two Devastator Squads.
If you take a close look, Squad numbers on the shoulder pads should be visible |
Same goes for Third Company |
Both Companies, with bikes, speeders and Dreads |
Besides, I need to base (and eventually repaint) these:
Apart from this, I have some vehicles, but they all need to be repainted. I'll be bringing them soon too!
Woah, that's insane detail!
ReplyDeleteHaha, but the mass impact is what counts here :D
Deletecool!
ReplyDeletewe want more Epic!! :)
Thanks! Ask and ye shall receive :D
DeleteExcellent I do like Epic. I think I played Space marine/Titan legions perhaps more but I did really like the scale.
ReplyDeleteHey! These are nice, it's a fun touch, it forces you to look things from a different angle, both in terms of painting and gaming. I'm planning to get these some game pretty soon (hopefully!)
DeleteCan't say I'm a fan of minis of this scale. But what I can say is that you did an excellent job with them considering the size. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Well, you can think about the fact that this is how WH40K is played nowadays, hundreds of troopers and big machines, I'm only trying to catch up! :D
DeleteThey look really good, nice work.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I currently have lots of vehicles on my workbench, so I hope I can show more goodies reasonably soon!
DeleteCool!! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! More to come...
