Ballads of War 1x28 & 1x29

I confess I cheated today... Only had to work on one page this time :P

So well... what the hell is... that? I think it's quite safe to use the word 'sarcophagus', but apart from that... nothing is to be taken for sure!
The banners there for sure tell a story, but we cannot make anything solely out of that (aren't you annoyed by those stories in which the characters see old paintings or whatever and decypher them all in a glimpse and understand the whole history of a disappeared civilization?)... Besides, things tangle up a little bit more when Brent sees that strange glyph and gets a sudden vision of the beast in his dreams.

But once again, all those matters will have to wait, as we have a pressing issue right now such as, well, Orks!

As usual, all the previous stuff can be found HERE.

  1. Oops, seems like that shot was not well thought through 😊. They had better done some more scouting first.
The plasma gun firing is masterfully done, but I don't think it would create a blood splatter as the wound would be more of a burn through.

    1. Hehe, I hadn't thought of that! Hmm, I guess you're right, but there's a similar issue about any kind of energy-powered weapon in sc-fi, they all should just burn, hmmm.
Besides, energy-powered guns should have no recoil at all! Recoil depends on the mass of both weapon and projectile; if the projectile has no mass, it's physically impossible to produce any recoil. It's however a convention in sci-fi to have laser weapons with normal recoil as if they were regular guns :D
I guess that's simply te Rule of Cool :D

  2. It's a bit like the boltgun shells which are in fact too large for the gun and they are also in fact caseless 😉. It's all for the rule of cool!

  4. Really nice mate - I'm starting to wonder if our hero has some latent psychic talents!

    1. Hmmm, I can tell you that not really... or not as we understand them... But we'll have the chance to see what's special about him... eventually. ;)
