Slow progress this week, real life and stuff, you know. Buuut how could I make it up for that? Bringing some colourful fish!
So you can see where my plan leads to, hehehe. With time I hope I can get models for all the fish tank. Besides, I took part in the DieHard Miniatures KS; I chose the Eru-Kin faction; I think they fit properly with this aesthetics, so in the end I think this could be a nice, different warband ;)

These are part of the Space Riders KS too. If you remember, I had already painted a couple of Pisceans by Diego. These two granted me the chance of having a squad. My inspiration was clear, I had already begun the Nemo path... :D

DeleteThose are very cool! Nice paint schemes with a fun theme. The hand weapons on the yellow one look a bit weedy, and the sword doesn't seem to sit right - is this the angle of the photo? Great squad anyway, sir.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Oh, you are right, you noticed, hehe. In fact I swapped the weapons. The sculpt is the same that the other Pisceans I already had, so I made this arrangement to make it look slightly different. I think I should have worked a little bit more on the hands and grips, but at tabletop distance I hope it doesn't look that bad...

DeleteFishmen are fun! I converted a Reaper bones figure last year, and while he has a different look, he is pretty similar in layout, so he could fit. I was considering adding the guy that Riot ville linked to above, or I might just do the same guy again with different arms.

DeleteIf you are having a slow week, my last couple of weeks have been a complete standstill. But it's the holidays so I'm trying to enjoy the short (hopefully) break from the hobby with some quality time with the family.
ReplyDeleteNice paint job of these guys although I must admit the only fish I can stand with legs is Darwin from The Adventures of Gumball. ;)
